Moxie Kitchen
Ingredients
-
1 ½ lbs sirloin*
-
1-2 T Moxie Cajun Seasoning (adjust for spice preference)
-
2 T high heat oil, divided (canola, etc.)
-
3 T butter
-
1 T Moxie Garlic & Chive Seasoning
-
fresh parsley for garnish if desired
Directions
Place the steak bites in a bowl and sprinkle with Moxie Cajun Seasoning. Toss to coat the meat evenly, letting it sit for 5-10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp of olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the steak bites in a single layer (avoid overcrowding the pan). Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until a golden crust forms. For medium-rare steak, aim for about 6-7 minutes total. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and 3 tbsp of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce to coat evenly. Cook for another minute to let the flavors meld. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and remove from heat.

Chef's Tips:
* The best cuts of meat for this dish are:
Sirloin
Rump
Tenderloin
Ribeye
Cooking Times: If using a different cut of meat, adjust cooking times to ensure it doesn’t become tough. Less is always more.
Avoid Overcrowding: Sear in batches if necessary to get that perfect crust on each piece.
Heat Level: Adjust the amount of Moxie Cajun Seasoning to your heat preference.
Suggested Side Dishes:
Garlic Mashed Potatoes: The creamy texture pairs perfectly with the bold flavors of the steak bites.
Steamed Green Beans or Asparagus: Simple and fresh, they balance the richness of the dish.
Cauliflower Rice: A lighter, low-carb option that soaks up the garlic butter beautifully.
Garden Salad with a tangy vinaigrette: Adds a fresh, crisp contrast to the savory steak bites.
